Always liked this one. Unfortunately it isn't streamable.

A few others worth checking out (at least according to my notes) in no particular order:

7-22-84, 5-26-72, 4-5-71, 5-23-82, 10-10-82, 5-2-80, 12-29-77, 1-10-79, 11-24-78, 5-5-90, 8-19-89, 7-18-82, 4-20-83

Most of this list is a result of recommendations by others on this site. Thanks to those responsible

Much obliged, hey does 925 in your name mean your area code in California? That'd be hilarious 'cause that's mine

I've searched high and low and can't find any two better than the ones Sparky just listed above:

3/24/90 and 7/22/84

I go back and forth on which is better....Jerry rips the hell out of both instrumental bridges...I might give the vocal nod to Ventura '84 for the gutteral growl he releases...they're both amazing.

if you like "Loser" I'm betting you;re also a fan of "Candyman." If so, check out this best-ever version from the Omni, Atlanta:

You rock! Yeah, you gotta love this song for its simplistic, non- jam out style and the great dynamics. Out of all the songs in the "first set" category, I always gotta listen to loser

Actually it's 99-92-55. Three Pittsburgh Steeler linebackers, 99 (Levon Kirkland), 92 (Jason Gildon) and 55 (Joey Porter). Kirkland, Gildon & Porter are also my son's names. I live in upstate NY.
